Outta Controls (“OC”, “we”) operates outtacontrols.com — a community product for news, culture, gaming, The Lobby Talk, and member conversation.

Information we collect

• Discord account data when you sign in (such as Discord user id, username, display name, avatar, and email if Discord provides it).
• Profile information you choose to add (bio, location, favorite teams/games/music).
• User-generated content you post — posts, OC Takes, reactions, direct messages, reports, and media you upload.
• Technical data needed to run the service (session cookies, basic device/browser signals, and product analytics events such as page views and feature usage).

How we use information

• Authenticate you and show your profile across OC.
• Operate the feed, messaging, notifications, and Lobby Talk features.
• Moderate reported content and keep the community safe.
• Understand product reliability and usage at a high level (not ads profiling).

Storage & processors

Data is stored with our hosting and database providers (including Vercel and Neon) and media storage (Vercel Blob). Discord provides authentication. Analytics may use PostHog when enabled in production.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Content you post may be visible to other OC members according to the feature (public feed vs private DMs). We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of the community.

Your choices

• Edit profile fields in OC.
• Request deletion of your OC account and associated personal data via Account.
• Contact us via Support.

Children

OC is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child created an account, contact support so we can remove it.
